ARTTIC is the leading European group providing consultancy and management services to international technology-related partnerships. ARTTIC provides services related exclusively to the set-up and management of European RTD collaborations, and has expertise in new materials and microelectronics, Security, IT, telecommunications, transport, education, health, bio-technologies, automotive industry, aeronautics, industrial technologies. The company has been successfully managing large-scale RTD projects since 1987, including more than 250 RTD projects and networks during previous framework programmes. ARTTIC staff has extensive experience and knowledge in various R&D fields, especially in the Energy and Transport areas.

Role in the project

In the JETSCREEN project, ARTTIC will be in charge of the Project Office through which it will provide the methods and tools as well as operational support to ensure and strengthen an effective collaboration within the consortium needed to manage the project. It will support the consortium in the daily management, administrative and contractual tasks to ensure the collaboration is working efficiently, the project is properly monitored and decisions and actions are prepared and taken according to the project’s progress. ARTTIC aims at simplifying the contractual and administrative work requested from the researchers as much as possible and developing a collaborative spirit inside the consortium. Furthermore, ARTTIC will practically support dissemination and communication activities, including the public web site, dissemination material, and the management of the JETSCREEN user community through its Community Management Tool

Personnel involved

Dr. Martin Dietz
Project management of small and large projects in FP7 and in H2020 in different domains. In addition Martin sets up new projects, manages the Munich branch of ARTTIC and coordinates the activities in Germany. Martin holds a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in Molecular Biology.

Laura Maroto, Project Manager (Female) has been working for ARTTIC since 2011, where she performs Research funding applications activities, proposal development activities and Project management and dissemination activities. Laura holds an Engineering degree in Telecommunications. She is currently managing four key programs in the Clean Sky 2 and in the  Fuel Cells Joint Undertaking. She is also managing several H2020 projects, ICT, energy and transport oriented.
